| Prayer Ministry |
Bringing the power of God into people's lives through prayer. The prayer ministry team consists of members of this church who are dedicated to praying for others. We want to be instruments used by the Holy Spirit to help people experience the love and power of Jesus Christ, and the healing, transformation and freedom that He promises. We pray with the Biblically-based understanding that the Lord's concern for each person embraces every aspect of our beings and every area of our lives. His power addresses every need--spiritual, emotional, physical, relational, & material. We pray with respect for individuals and for each person's uniqueness before God. We seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit and of the Word of God so that our prayers are aligned with God's intentions as He continues to bring each of us into greater awareness of the fullness of life in Him. While all believers are called to pray for others, the prayer ministry team is an extension of the church's formal pastoral ministry, guided by and accountable to the pastoral staff. Team members have demonstrated commitment to Jesus Christ and His church, growing spiritual maturity, dependence on the Holy Spirit and the truth of God's Word, and a heartfelt desire for God's will to be accomplished in the lives of others. Members of the Prayer Ministry Team are available immediately following each worship service. More in-depth and extended prayer sessions with members of the ministry team may be arranged by contacting Fili Tualaulelei.
